Sociological Association of Ireland - Constitution
The articles of the constitution of the association were updated by a sub-committee of the Executive committee in 2003. The changes were ratified at the Annual General Meeting of the Association at the annual conference in Ballyconnell in 2003. The section ’Aims of the Association’ details the professional standards that the association sets and maintains. The section ’Grades of Membership’ details the different possible types of membership of the association, and the voting rights associated with each grade. The section ’Organisation of the Association’ details the composition of the committee and the processes that must be followed in terms of election to the committee, introduction of motions/constitutional amendments and other such processes. |
